Arches
Built in 1963 (listed Grade II 1971), Arches is a sturdy three floored building with stuccoed walls in the Mediterranean style.
The upper two floors provide self-cating accommodation; the lower floor originally served as garage space for guests but was converted to an antiques shop soon afrer the building was constructed. Today it is an ice cream parlour and cafe selling a range of pastries and fancies.
